Model Paint Suppliers in OZ

Gidday to all, I am just getting into modelling but I am shocked at the cost of teenie tiny little tins of paint !!! Are there alternative Paint types I can use on Plastic model (AFV's) that wont break the bank ? I have done some searching around the net but alot of dead ends on Aussie sites, and as I live in a country town my options are limited. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
