Posted by Ray Seppala There seems to be some confusion regarding the dates of next year's ACT competition. You may have seen reference to the 'Canberra Show' in recent issues of the ACTSMS Newsletter. This is Canberra's version of the Royal Easter Show. This show is held in February and as part of it there is a craft expo. One of the sections in the Craft Expo is for various type of models. So it is not a competition run by the ACTSMS as such. We are just encouraging members to participate and to lift the profile of the ACTSMS in the ACT and surrounding region. The ACTSMS annual comp at this stage is still slated for May 2005. We have yet to assemble an organising committee. So the date may change. Hope this clears up things! Regards Ray Seppala
