Posted by Michael Grieve The two-day event capitalises on the successful formula of the ACTSMS' previous annual events and draws many visitors from all around eastern Australia. We pride ourselves on running a friendly, fun-based event, which always includes a dinner on the Saturday evening. All members of the public are welcome to enter models into the competition. A trophy is awarded for the overall winner in each category, and all models will be in the running for a trophy for the most popular model at the show as voted for by members and visitors. Entering the competition is as simple as bringing your model along before 11am on Saturday, or you can pre-register by filing out the online registration form on our website prior to 8pm Thursday 24th May. The cost of entering the competition is $2 per model for a non-ACTSMS member. Visitors are most welcome, there being a nominal entry fee of $2 adults, $1 children, and $5 family. In addition to the competition entries, some of the models of ACTSMS members will also be on display, and we are also expecting a number of scale model and book traders (new and second hand) to attend the event. So please come along and get involved or just take a look.
