Matisse Open day - Free including sausage sizzle

Matisse have an annual open day each year.
This is in the grand old tradition of "No hard sell, in fact they don't sell their paint at all during the open day!"
They consider this an opportunity for the various Artists and Hobby people to meet and exchange ideas and advice.
In regards to our hobby we can learn from:
- Airbrush artists
- How to make and use stencils from the Folk art people etc
Also you may see something which with imagination you find a good use for it in our hobby.
An example is the Matisse gel medium which I have been using to make sea and river terrain boards.
They have a free gourmet sausage sizzle on the day and face painting as well as other activities for the children.
There are also workshops that you or your partner can book in for.
I will be running a miniatures participation game on the day there as well.
Finally they also have factory tours, can answer technical questions and you get to play with any of their new products.
The open day is on the 21st October 2006 from 10am to 2pm at 1 Northcote Street Mortlake, (Sydney NSW)
