The only place the Corps used the M4A1 was used was Cape Glouster and these machines were supposedly 'borrowed' from the Army at MacArthur's insistance. Questions: the camie pattern was about what colors? The tracks on the machines were British style, were these tanks meant for the Aussies? Finally, I can fine no picture clear enough to determine if USMC registration numbers were stenciled on. I thought that was a must. But these were either Army or Aussie machines? Hummm? And the final finally: any company or platoon numbers?
I just know there's somebody out there who really really knows.
