“LA MIMETIZZAZIONE DELLE NAVI ITALIANE 1940-1945 - Italian Navy Camouflage 1940-45”
The book will feature 230 b/w & color photos, more than 650 line drawings (all in full color), and - among other topics - will contain an 80-page section with the color scheme for ALL Italian surface warships of 1940-45, from battleships to auxiliaries.
Extensive chapters also cover camouflage for Italian motor torpedo boats, submarines, merchant ships, with an addenda about camouflage in other Navies of WW II.
A comprehensive English digest has been included, as well as a detailed bibliography.and footnotes.
The book is being authored by Erminio Bagnasco (Editor of the monthly magazine “STORIA Militare”) and Maurizio Brescia and will be put on sale at 60 Euros by the end of next May.
