: Hi,
:
: I amw riting to you from the other side of
: the globe, however an enthusiastic fan of
: "Aussie"-aircraft of 2md WW.
:
: Currently I am trying to make a decent model
: out of the good olf Airfix-Boomerang which
: should be A46-228 (BF°R) from 5. Squadron
: at Bougainville in 1945.
: To this I have got two questions as my
: source differ alot concerning these:
: 1. The registration A46-228 should be either
: grey or black according to the sources used?
: Has anyone an idea which colour is the right
: one?
:
: 2. The white leading edge on the wings could
: be either for the elngth of the whole wing
: or A46-222 "Glamour Girl" starting
: at the parellel line at the wings and ending
: at the at the end of the wing before the
: curved section begins. Is there any picture
: available showing this aircraft or has
: anyone a solution??
:
: Finally, I am not sure about the internal
: colour of the Boomerangs. Some of my sources
: state that this should be silver, the other
: ones state it as "British Interior
: Green". Which one is correct??
:
: I would be very happy if anyone were able to
: assit and help me finishing the feature.
:
: I would be willing to help with info on
: late-war German aircraft, particularly Bf
: 109 / FW 190 etc. - if required
:
: Sincerely yours
:
