HH the Tengku Seri Nila Utama of Pahang, sister of Sultan Abu Bakar of Pahang died on 12.1.12. She had been born in 1927 and had married twice - firstly to Sultan Ali of Terengganu and after their divorce she married Raja Abdul Jalil Shah bin Raja Shahar Shah.
Another Malaysian princess, HH Tunku Tun Maimunah binti Almarhum Sultan Ismail al-Khalidi of Johore died on 13.1.12. The princess had been born in 1939 and was the only daughter of Sultan Ismail of Johore and she was the wife of Tunku Osman bin Tunku Temenggong Ahmad of Johore.
