That there were boy monarchs is without doubt, but how many of them that you mention had actually gone through the installation ceremony before coming of age, if any?

: This leads to certain speculation: even
: males are capable of certain acts of
: "fertility" only after reaching
: puberty.
: However, we know well that throughout
: several centuries, boy children 4-10 years
: old were relatively often monarchs (though
: not all the time), and thus sacerdotal
: performers. Indeed, the abdication custom of
: many many centuries seems to have preferred
: very underage monarchs.
:
: It may be that this line of speculation is
: mistaken, and the rite of fertility in
: question here, does not require at least
: puberty. But on the other hand, knowing
: something about ancient rites of
: agriculturalist populations, it very well
: may be just such acts.
:
: If, however, the acts of fertility in
: question do not require at least puberty-age
: maturity of males, then what could be such a
: nature of fertility act which excludes
: females?

: As I understand it, the ceremonies include
: certain "fertillity rite that only a
: male is capable of performing".
