I have seen one report of the Privy Council ceremony which said that he was proclaimed "George Tupou IV". Strictly speaking, he could be that because his father was also the third king to have the name Sia'osi in Tongan or George in English. However, he never used that name officially and was always known as "Taufa'ahau Tupou IV".
