Posted by Laura Stevens --Previous Message-- Iam so sorry about your injury that had to force you to sell them. But i know what that feels like. I too had a Poco Bueno Grandaughter that due to finaces at the time i had to sell her also. Since 1998 when i had started working at a Show Barn here in Maine, I got the chance to get aquainted with the Barn Trainer there and he took me under his wing so to speak and introduced me to the Majestic Araibian Breed. I fell in love with all Arabians but the one Arabian that caught my eye and captured my heart was Bey Shah. I had read every article that was ever written about him. And the way he presented himself in a picture was truely "God like" and very, very proud. His Breeders Lester and Jennie Walton nicknamed him correctly "Mr. Perfection". By looking at pictures of his mother and father Bay El Bey and Star Of Ofir, I knew then where he got his looks from. And just the way he presented himself and all the pictures that i have seen of him in the past, Bey Shah,Huckleberry Bey,and Barbary, and knowing that all three came from ++Bask nicknamed "The Kingmaker",and everyone that had the Honor of meeting Bey Shah and owning a decendant of that GREAT Horse, are truly very fortunate. I wish I had been that fortunate too have had the pleasure of meeting him,too be able to look into those Big Brown Kind Eyes of his and being able to see "My Soul" and have him touch my heart even more. You might think this is truely funny, but if Bey Shah was a man..Then every man should've taken lessons on being the Perfect Gentleman,he truly would've been able to teach them something. And as far as that "Lady" ,and i use that term for her rather LOOSELY. in my opinion that message board is for people too express their thoughts and feelings on Bey Shah and his life as well as his accomplishments in the Show ring, and living up to his nickname MR. PERFECTION. And thank you Kimber for the beautiful pictures of Bey's Family. I truly Love them. But when i left the Horse Business here cause of my son I never knew that Bey Shah had passed until i read an article about him the same night that i had found the messageboard and knowing that fact i was truly floored and upset knowing that all of the Arab World Lost a True King. In closing, Thank you so much for expressing the same feelings that i have about Bey Shah, and where he came from. I truly would like to post some of this on the messageboard for all too read in hoping that whoever reads this would come too realize that there should be NO BEY SHAH BASHING. In our own way by reading articles or owning a son, daughter, etc that he touched all of our lives in some way. And it saddens me geatly that he had passed. I loved him dearly even though I never knew him. And if anyone has any pictures of Bey Shah or his "family" that i could add to my collection or any articles that i haven't read please feel free to e-mail me. Thank you so much. Thank you so much Kimber for taking the time to send me an e-mail and the picture. I will truly treasure them and add them to my Bey Shah picture gallery Thank you again,
