I am fully aware that other lines carry this same flaw, and I am not a Bey Shah hater by any means. --Previous Message--

I was not aware they are the same person, I don't frequent this board. I don't know Carolyn, but I do know of the filly, her full brother, and the breeder. I can definitely understand where she is coming from though, it is devastating (both financially and emotionally) to find out your investment has a severe conformational flaw (I consider a club foot a severe flaw). According to my vet, farrier, and trainer, my filly's club foot is not that bad (only a mild case). That really isn't the point though - the point is that the family history (and actual case itself) should be disclosed prior to the sale. This is something not a lot of breeders, owners, trainers, etc. do.
: : BTW, Carolyn and CVO are the same
: person.
: Sorry to hear about the problems with
: your filly. However, I would say that
: does not mean that CVO's filly has the
: same degree of problem. Having not seen
: her, I don't know. However, I lurk on
: a lot of boards and have seen CVO bash
: the filly, bash the seller, and now
: bash people who ask for a video. Makes
: me wonder. Does not sound like someone
: I'd like to do business with and be the
: next to be bashed. May be a reason why
: she is having trouble placing the
: filly.
