Thank you for your response! I believe everything you have said--my horse and I have a one-of-a-kind relationship, too. He is indeed a gentleman, but he is fiery. I just learned he had not been gelded until 6 years old, so it explains his stallionesque behavior. Kasha is a wonderful partner. I have heard that the Polish Arabs are the smartest of all--their minds are analytical. When something scares them, they will start, but then they will check it out and decide what to do. Kasha has NEVER bolted on me, and we have had some surpises that have made me nearly jump out of my own skin! Bask has indeed blessed humanity with his bloodline. Again, thank you so much for your reply to my email. I love hearing about people who love their horses like I do.

: I have 3 Bask grandchildren. Two are
: daughters of Bask Flame and one is a
: Negatraz daughter. But, Bask is in all
: of my horses bloodlines. Most of your
: Polish horses are very level headed.
: But, I fell in love with the Bask
: bloodlines when I bought my first
: Arabian mare from Bask Flame. I feel
: as if my mare and I are one in one. We
: are in sync. We understand each other.
: My other mares are very gentle in
: nature. Excellent mothers. My
: stallion who is out of a multi-champion
: stallion out of Gdansk is also very
: level headed. He is a gentleman. It
: is not just the Bask line it is the
: Polish horse. Enjoy her. It is a
: great bloodline with much joy given to
: those of us lucky enough to have them
: as our family.

: I am trying to learn about *Bask, my
: horse's grandsire, and see if anyone
: knows about my horse--I heard about
: Bask's personality, and now my horse's
: attitude all makes sense. Kasha is one
: of a kind, and I believe it is Bask's
: influence. Anyone have any info for me?
: Perhaps your horse has a unique
: attitude and exceptional intelligence
: from Bask? Any info is welcomed.
: Thanks.
