We rescued Windance, our mare 3 years ago. She couldn't walk due to foundering and very long feet. She was bone skinny and stiff. We immediately got her feet done and put her in pasture. Within weeks she fattened up and was running again. Since then she has been fine until recently. She has recently been fed alfalfa and foundered. She has just had her feet done by a founder specialist and it will take up to a year to get her feet healed to where she is comfortable. We need donations to help pay for the special hoof care she needs. Please help. She is a very sweet mare. She doesn't budge around kids and is very patient with other horses.
