can anyone help me find pedgree?

I have a purbred Arabian mare that I bought. I am the mares 4th owner and I am trying to get a hold of the papers. The first owners would not let them go b/c of a nasty devorice. She is now dead and the papers are gone. I know the horses reg. name. How can I get a hold of her papers. SHe is realy nice and I would like to breed and show her at purebred shows.
