There are two 5-yr old registered appy mares WITH papers in a Washington state feedlot -- they are scheduled to be shipped to slaughter in Canada tomorrow if the local rescue cannot place them before that time.
The feedlot owner wants $800 each for these girls -- they are sound and halter broken, but not started under saddle.
