Hello,
This mare was part of a herd dispersal when her owner died. Her owner's wife wasn't involved in the horses and didn't know if they were registered, or what to do with them. Their son came in and helped register the ones he couldn't find papers for, but apparently my mare's papers were sent with a different horse by mistake (this was before I got her). I have contacted the AApA where she was registered, but thus far they have been unable to contact the person with my mare's papers. I guess I'm asking for some advice on how to proceed - is this the only registry she can be registered with? I have had a few potential buyers, but I have no clue what she is worth. Here is what I was told; she is a Blue Roan, between 3-5 years old and she is green-broke. She may also be half Arab - does that increase, or decrease her value? She is a beautiful and very calm natured mare.
Wendy
