I just wanted to say hi!! I have been just getting back into horses myself. I owned 2 previously and one was a appaloosa/quarter horse. I really enjoyed working with him. I got out of horses for awhile, mostly due to financial reasons and I had a child. Well after not riding for about 8 years I found it was very difficult to get back into it , my body was not used to riding at all.(I shareboarded a horse for a month) And I am only 29!!, LOL..., mostly out of shape , but I some fears as well and I have tried to keep updated with what has been happening in the horse world via websites, magazines, horse shows, horse expos and other horsey people...so I am re-educating myself as well. I found that the more you know the easier it gets. I also have been reading a book, Ride with Confidence that I picked up at Tractor Supply Company. It has some good tips from different horse professionals. One in fact is Julie GoodNight who I had the pleasure of seeing at a clinic at the PA horse expo!! Well hope to see ya around the message boards and I hope everything works out.....remember "Horses are proof God loves us!"
