Hey all, I was hoping if you could let me know my chances of landing an interview for an AA program. I apply next cycle.
Major: Biology
GPA:3.4
MCAT: Looking at a 495
Shadowing experience: 305 hours with an Anesthesiologist, 10 with a vascular surgeon, 20 with an ophthalmologist
EC's: -Cancer research for a year -Honors College member -100 volunteer hours in MSICU at hospital -100 volunteer hours at Alzheimer/Hospice home -Biology tutor -Work for Kaplan -Marketing Internship -Leadership position within my fraternity
I am also a minority. I am only mentioning that because I know it plays a role in medical school admission but I am not sure if it plays a role in admission to AA school. Again, not using it as a crutch to lean on, just want to know where I stand

Your chances are good but I would take the GRE to make them better. Your MCAT is a little low but everything else is good. I got in this cycle with a lower GPA but a 500 MCAT and a 312 GRE.
