Hi, all! I know we're all in the midst of applications, interviews, and acceptances (congrats to those who have gotten them!). As we get closer to having to choose a program, I was curious to know what everyone's first choice schools are and why. I understand that preferences vary from person to person & I've read postings on this site/researched each program, but I'm still having a bit of a hard time distinguishing the programs enough to have a clear first choice. If anyone has heard or read anything that caused them to lean towards/away from any school in particular or has any useful information/opinions on the topic, I'd love to hear them!

A big factor for me would be rotation sites and affiliated hospitals. I want to go to a school where I can get a job close to home. Other factors play into my decision as well but that was the biggest for me.

A good way to separate the schools is to decide if you want to start clinicals in semester 1 or only take didactic classes for the first semester and wait for semester 3 before you start clinicals. I didn't have any health care experience so choosing a program that waits until semester 3 was best for me. Also, each program has its own personality. Do you like larger cities like Atlanta or do you prefer smaller campuses like South and Tampa? So you have to decide what's important to you.
I loved how friendly they were at Tampa and a smaller campus better suited me.
