Go to each school website to see which they require and prefer.
I took calculus-based physics for Physics I and non-major physics for Physics II. The difference is I got a B in the calculus-based and an A in regular Physics.
And I don't remember any of the professors at my school interviews being impressed that I went the extra mile to take calculus-based physics. Looking back, I'd only take non-major physics unless my top school requires calculus-based. Hope this helps.

What do you mean by college or university physics? Do you mean calculus based? Go to the websites of the aa websites to find out which Physics they required. They all tell you the requirements.
