Hey Everyone! Man, it sure has been a long time since Ive been on this board! But I just wanted to let everyone know that if you took the MCAT and didnt get into a program or if you are wait-listed/rejected from Case you all should apply to UMKC. They are now taking applications year round, but make final admissions decisions in the summer. If you are going to apply, make sure to get your application in sooner than later. There are only 12 in my class, and Im not sure how many they are planning on accepting next year. But, it is a freakin stellar program! Im in my first year here and things are tough (its AA school, after-all) but SO SO rewarding! And, since you all have already fulfilled the requirements, I would suggest that you at least apply. Whats the hurt?
I am super busy, but I linked my e-mail. If any of you have questions about UMKC, please let me know, I will try my best to answer them in a timely fashion. Good luck to everyone!

Dear 1st yr student,
Thanks for your msg. I have been in a nurse anesthetist program for 1 1/2 yrs, and was about to become a senior when things started turning bad for me in the clinical setting, and I am on the verge of being dropped from the program. I have been an ICU nurse, with open heart experience. Will I have a good chance at applying for this program of AA. I presently live in Illinois, but am willing to relocate, if I get an admission. Pls advise. Thanks....Rudy

I don't know why more people dont apply to umkc. It's another chance to get in without waiting a whole year.
