You want to gauge the kid of impression you need to make? Make the best damn impression you possibly can, no matter what interview group you are a part of.
As curious as you may be about your chances as compared to others and the number that has been accepted already, just focus on you. If they REALLY like you, it doesn't matter how many spots they have for that interview group or how many people are in already; they will offer you a spot.
My perception is that, because you are even asking these questions, you have a lot of work to do to get ready for your interview. Good luck though.
