I lived in Tucker which is fairly close to campus and loved it. This was some years ago, but I really liked the area. I knew some grad students who lived in President Park Apartments?? I think that was what it was called. You could also contact the housing department @ Emory to get a list of vacancies.
Hope this helps....plus I wanted to bump those stupid solicitations.
