I've heard about physicians doing medical writing as a supplementary or full-time career, and I was wondering if the same freelance job opportunities were available to AAs as well. I would love to work full-time as an AA and then write one or two freelance medical assignments in my off time.
... But are AAs considered qualified for this line of work? How would one go about obtaining jobs? What kinds of firms are the most common employers?
