Clinical Rotations - Can most be done in-town? Archived Message

I'm planning on applying to Emory, Nova, and South this fall and I have some questions about 2nd year clinical rotations. I just got married this summer, and if I am accepted to one of these programs, my husband and I will be moving. I understand that AA programs are tough and very time-consuming. I am not so much worried about the time commitment being a stress to my marriage as I am about having to do clinical rotations away from the city that my school is in (and therefore away from my hubby). In a perfect world, I would like to stay in the city that my husband and I are living in for most clinical rotations. Is this possible? Or should I expect to be traveling around a lot during that year? Is it easier to stay in-town for rotations at one school over another (ie: Maybe most rotations at Emory can be done in ATL since its so huge, versus rotations for South U in Savannah, which is not so huge)? Unfortunetly, the websites for these schools don't give too much information about clinical rotations. I'd appreciate any info or advice that you could send my way! Thanks!
