    Hey...it's good your looking at your options. Most people going into AA school are in mid to late 20's, so don't worry if you don't know exactly what you want. I'm 23 and still deciding. You should prepare for AA school exactly like med school so thats the easy part, just do some anesthesia shadowing as well. Admissions to AA school is almost as competitive as the average state MD school or DO school, and the competition will only increase. Most likely if one cant get into med school, then they prob cant get into AA school, or at least this will be true by the time you apply. But it is a hard decision, b/c if you know you like anesthesia you can obviously reach that goal by med school or aa school. Do you wanna be the captain or the first mate? Dont let grades get you down...you can improve, just focus.
