AA's come from a variety of backgrounds; business, nursing, health care and non-health care fields. Everyone has to take the required pre-requisites, if you take all of them before the start of the program, then you will be eligible for admissions. Not to mention the GRE or MCAT must be taken. To have a BBA and have the dedication to go back and take some additional required courses shows great dedication, keep it up. That to me shows just as much dedication, if not more, than those who were science majors and went straight into school. As for the money thing, I don't think many people would go through the rigors of the program and school debt if the pay off wasn't worth it. It's a good career for a combination of reasons, one being that you can be financially secure as an AA.
    Good luck!
