I am completing my BS degree now with Concentrations in Emergency Medicine and Biology. I was a Paramedic for Ten years and I am now working at a major hospital as a Anesthesia Technician. I am concentrating on my prereq's with all of my free time now. Anesthesia Technicians have two levels of certification, Technician and Technologist. Would it behoove me to get these certifications as a way to improve my resume for admissions? I will already have over 24,000 hours of paramedic care experience and around 2,000 + hours of Anesthesia Tech experience when the time comes to apply. Thank you for any input.
