Im in the Nova program and we actually have someone who is an actual single mom. Granted her daughter is about 6, she still has to worry about taking care of her and getting her from school. If she can make it work, then Im sure you can do it. I know for a fact that the faculty at our facilities are more than willing to help single moms. If you get an interview, just dont make it seem like an undoable task, focus more on how it will be doable even with your baby. Once you get through the didactic year, you can get all your clinical rotations focused in Gainesville and around the area. We do several rotations at Shands. Best of luck!
