As a CRNA, I do not have "Fear" of AAs.
The way I see it, without the AAs coming along, the USA will be in big trouble in 10-15 years as many of the baby boomer MDAs and CRNAs retire and we will face a shortage of anesthesia providers.
The AAs will fill a void left because the ASA and AANA failed to ensure enough providers were coming out of in their respective specialties. I see no reason the AAs should suffer because of poor planning by other groups.
Hang in there guys. And if you want an AA practice law in Nevada, I would be more than happy to speak out in support of you.
(And in return, try to say "Some CRNAs" rather than using absolutes when you complain about "some CRNAs." Not all of us are closed minded and worry only about our pocketbook.)
