I have seen lots of job openings for CRNAs/AAs to do part-time work one or two days per week in a clinic for an inflated locums-like salary (usually $800-900$ for 8 hours).
Do people that hold these jobs usually work these jobs only, or do they also have a "regular" CRNA/AA job?
For example -- could I choose to work Monday through Friday at one practice, and then, for two Saturdays out of the month, work for another practice for the $800-$900? If I put in just two days per month at $800/day, that's an extra $19,200 every year! Or, if I moonlight once a week (4 times/month), that's a whopping $38,400 a year...all on top of my earnings from the "regular" AA job!
Is it even legal to work for 2 different practices at the same time? Is there anyone here currently doing this?
