WOW! awesome it's all about perseverance and not giving up period. This is my point being heard speaking out.
All I ask is when fighting for your profession now and in the future please don't be like the AANA association using politics legislation building fences animosity and being vindictive to gain more practice rights in a negative way, be honest but truthful in a positive way, be respectful only use politics when you have too, but in a good way(positive)to better patient access and care as well as serving the public with the short crisis of Anesthesia providers. Not all CRNAs think like their fellow co-workers their are a good percentage of fair and honest CRNAs who do agree with me and actually work with AA-Cs and feel the same way, we have to work together as a "TEAM" the bottom line is we don't know what life is going to throw at us. For the CRNAs that constantly bash the AA-Cs and their profession and has never work or met a AA-C
one day it just might be an AA-C(Anesthetist)at the head of your bed taking care of you especially if you come in to the hospital as a Trauma patient with a GSW(Gun shot wound)to the chest and abdomen MVC MVA(Motor vehicle collision or Motor vehicle accident).MCC or CHI you get the picture you come in already with an ETube when they pull your ETube two days later in the Trauma ICU the AA-C comes to see how you are doing he/she tells you I was the Anesthetist that took care of you in the O.R. you assume he/she is an CRNA, you smile and say thank you I have a lot of respect for CRNAs but he/she tells you I'm not a CRNA I'm an AA-C Anesthesiologist Assistant Certified(ANESTHETIST) I function just like a CRNA I do the same exact cases that a CRNAs does. Then what will you say? POINT TAKEN LEARN TO RESPECT the AA-Cs and their profession have a good day
