The Future of Anesthesia Practice in the USAArchived Message

Let me say it once and for all; the future of Anesthesia lies in one single organization called the Anesthetist. There would be no difference between CRNAs and AAs, one single board governing Anesthesia practice in all states, one single board certification for both AAs and CRNAs thus similar to medicine where it does not matter what your background is, just that you go through medical school and pass the USMLE 1, 2 and 3.
CRNAs will never get the independent practice they want even though they may end up with more rights....I think AAs should just stand back and watch CRNAs fight the fight while AAs come in for the spoils after CRNAs are merged with AAs into the single government controlled, board certified Anesthetist.
