Popular apartments are "The Flats" in NOMA/Galludet, but they can get expensive and aren't the best for commuting to the hospital in my opinion. A few of the 2nd year students live in "The Cloisters" which is near the hospital, but it's not the most convenient of locations for restaurants, grocery, etc. I would maybe entertain the idea of a row house with other members of your class or English basements if you want to save money on rent.
