Since you already know that you're probably not getting accepted to an AA program for this cycle, you should take advantage of your situation and start improving your application for next year's cycle now. Use the time to take a GRE prep class and blow the quantitative section out of the water. Re-take any science/math classes you earned a C in. Get a job that puts you in the OR (but NOT a front desk/administrative position). Take any additional science classes that are relevant to the AA profession (pharmacology is a good one).
Either way, don't wait until the last minute to improve your application for next year's cycle. You already know it's probably not going to happen for you this time around, so use the power of knowing to make yourself that much more competitive for the next round. Good luck.
