Being a PA before entering the program is not the educational level that most students have when they enter the program. That person is able to work a full time schedule because they have already mastered anatomy, physiology, patho, pharm, and only need to learn certain differences as they pertain to anesthesia. That is why that person can work a full time schedule. Someone with other healthcare experience may be able to work a per diem job but it would be stupid to try to work full time. People without either would have a real hard time working and doing well in the program. You are paying top dollar for an education why worry over a couple of thousand dollars in the program hen doing so may cost you 100K if you fail out. Not worth it in my opinion.
