Hence my point. Its not the AAs that are driving the salaries down, its the increase in crna schools and class size to meet the demand of anesthetist and to lobby against md's and aa's. At the end of the day, the aa's have the most to lose since they can only practice under anesthesiologist and in certain locals...I am going into this program because i like the ACT model and would love to have a md's direction, but if its their choice to embrace us then we are leaving our future up to them. I hope they support us!
