Out of observations performed in the past, there's no evidence that CRNAs perform their job better than AAs. Perhaps there's an academic trade off? Many AAs were once premed and they don't need 6-7 years of pt exposure. They have the intelligence to do just as well as CRNAs in a shorter time span.
I laugh at CRNAs for putting AAs down because they don't have enough clinical experience. Yet MDs have the same compliant about CRNAs. How the tables have turned...
