The government and third party private payers couldn't care less about your undergraduate degree. Doctors assistants need an MDA (by deliberate A$A design) for any care they provide to be reimbursed. CRNAs do not. With the reimbursement cash pie shrinking, payers are simply not going to continue to pay two providers for one service. This is not my opinion, it's the cold economic hard truth.
