This CRNA vs. AA crap is getting old. Are you aware that AA's, and other PA's SAVE the hospital money?
And you CRNA's need to stop bringing up this health reform bill, don't worry, you'll get BLASTED by it too. Everyone involved with health care will, not just the ones you don't like.
And lastly, I love medicine. To try and deter someone, just so you crna's will be one step closer to a monopolization anesthesia is just pathetic. News flash, anesthesia does not belong to you, or the crna community. I'm quite content with my BA in Chemistry and the work I've had to do to get to where I am. I shouldn't have to sleepwalk through a nursing program just to practice anesthesia. I'm competent, willing and enthusiastic, and I really don't care how relevant you think you are.
