Hi Jan,

I have worked in three separate hospitals that hire both CRNAs and AAs. Despite differing backgrounds, both have the same job description and perform identical tasks within the OR. I truly do not understand what causes an entire message board to be dedicated to the ongoing discussion of CRNA vs. AA qualifications. NPs accept PAs, MDs accept DOs, yet there are still so many CRNAs who blindly fight against accepting AAs. All these "points" you are trying to make appear to put forth the perception that you have never worked with an AA before. Is my assumption correct?
