wow! someone got fire up their ass! chill out dude...lol. you got into med school and didn't go? my point exactly, YOU TOOK THE EASY WAY OUT!! Why would anyone take the MCATs just for the hell of it?
One thing you're right about is i took the easy way out.lol! I DID! Smart investment on my part however because being a nurse for two years wasn't bad before enrolling in anesthesia school. I mean I worked and made not so great money but it was decent. The benefits were great. I mean 2.5 yrs of grad school to do what I do now? Can't beat that. Screw AA school. In fact, I researched into AA school and preferred the autonomy I would receive as a CRNA.
BTW I was a biology major in undergrad so your classes weren't different from mine thank you very much. Maybe you're right in saying the average nurse does not take difficult science coursework but be advised that most CRNA schools up north require gen chem and biochem. Don't compare yourself on here to M.Ds and say we CRNA's take orders because we don't. We may have done so when we were Rn's but that is not the case now. You on the other hand will always take orders MR. Assistant. Hence, this topic on the forum about CRNA becoming a doctorate program. Don't worry, in the near future maybe more schools will invest in an AA program to make it a doctorate. ooooooo, maybe not, that would mean you'd have to go to med school. hehe! take the MCATs again dear and I'm sure you won't be on here stressing on this message board. M.Ds have earned their respect.
