Thanks fo the response. It's been a real pain in the you know what to try to find a hospital to allow me to shadow.
I actually just walked into an outpatient Children's Hospital surgical center and asked if I could shadow, and they said absolutely. Still waiting back from the final word from the chief anesthesiologist, but I'm just glad I finally got a place to shadow.
I know for a regular PA (general practice), a lot of schools want 2,000 hours healthcare experience.. Should I expect to try and shadow that many hours?
