I'm not sure what that one state is that he is referring to.....but I'm SURE that in Utah, CRNAs are still under physician SUPERVISION-rightfully so....I sure as hell would let an AA give me anesthesia before any CRNA. Apparently you have to have a year of taking care of patients and a nursing license in order to give anesthesia....You might want to inform EVERY Anesthesia residency in this country of that requirement...Because I'm pretty sure that MDs coming out of school and entering anesthesia residencies don't have "those prerequisites."
