Maybe once there are a few thousand more AAs in practice we can get some new laws passed in our favor as well. Maybe we can practice solo in rural America like Stanley one day?
Also, if we graduate a lot more AAs guys like Stanley will have a lot more competition for those solo jobs. So, Stan is really scared that his income may go down or more CRNAs will start looking for solo work and may take less money to get stanley's job.
There is plenty of work for all of us stanley. But, the MDAs control most of the jobs and I am glad we get along wel with them. Maybe if they have to choose between AA and CRNA in the future they will pick us. As a student I have much to learn but it seems that an MDA is the most qualified of all three providers and should be in charge at our hospitals.
