All the AA programs will have to adjust their curriculum to be at a doctorate level as well. Even with a doctorate degree in nursing, a CRNA will not be allowed to introduce themselves as "doctors" to patients and faculty. In the hospital setting, MDs and DOs are the only practitioners allowed that designation (for good reason). Despite what some people may have you believe on this website, the AA profession is expanding and becoming more and more desirable in hospitals around the country. Well worth the effort.
