cheaper to become a doc? 40K x 4yrs = 160K plus living expenses of at least 25K/yr = 100K, so total 260K for the 4yrs. (not to mention all the $$$ spend in applying and visiting and interviewing) then 4 more yrs of residency at only 38-45K doing 80hrs/wk.
