Posted by Henry That is surprising -- D.O. schools and AA schools have roughly the same GPA/acceptance statistics. That really makes you wonder...is it worth putting 6 more years (than AA school) in to be able to earn the salary of an anesthesiologist ($300k+) and take advantage of all the perks that come with possession of a medical degree? Remember -- doctors can also get involved in legal consulting, as well as other sources of "supplemental income" that are not available to AAs/CRNAs/PAs. I think I will apply to dental, AA and D.O. schools!

D.O. schools' average accepted GPAs are only 3.2? And they'll consider a 21 MCAT!?
