I just sold a saddle that fit this same way on my horse. My saddle was actually too narrow. I'm guessing your horse is round without a prominent wither to help keep the saddle on. Is there a tack store near you that you can take your horse to for a saddle fitting? I think that would be your best option for getting a saddle that fits.
